MENDON — Board of Health approves septic upgrade, dumpster amendments unanimously. Chairman Alan Greenberg, Vice-Chairman Tom Fichtner, and Member Joyce Gilmore voted unanimously to allow an 80-foot septic system offset at 17 Hartford Avenue West despite standard Title 5 requirements of 100 feet, based on Engineer Tom Ryder's recommendation and site constraints. The board also unanimously adopted amended dumpster regulations, effective immediately, and renewed the FY27 Visiting Nurses Association contract with price increases that remain within budget.
