Board of Health approves septic upgrades for 76 Uxbridge Road property.

MENDON — Board of Health backs septic upgrades and raises trash rates. The Mendon Board of Health unanimously approved local septic system upgrades at 76 Uxbridge Road following review by Title 5 Engineer Tom Ryder and discussion with Plan Designer Rob Knapik. The Board also adopted a four percent increase to Fiscal Year 2027 trash rates after calculating collection, disposal, and administrative costs.
Health Agent Colleen Strapponi, absent from the meeting, previously conducted a one-day tobacco sales suspension at Savon Gas and provided staff training on sales compliance. The Board is reviewing nine scholarship applications for announcement at the next meeting on May 13, 2026.
