Community Preservation Committee approves $100,000 MURSD fields transfer.

MENDON — Community Preservation Committee recommends $100,000 transfer for MURSD field work. The panel, chaired by Anne Mazar, voted unanimously to allocate funds from the Community Preservation Budget Reserve Account for the Mendon Upton Regional School District fields project in conjunction with Upton CPA resources. The committee also approved the FY27 Community Preservation allocation of $664,400, with 65 percent directed to budgeted reserve and the remainder split among open space, historic preservation, affordable housing, and administration.

Separately, the panel approved a $15,000 transfer for a part-time Affordable Housing Coordinator position and up to $26,000 for the Conway School to compile a passive recreation plan for the Oak and Wall Farm Preserve.
