MENDON — Community Preservation Committee rescues affordable housing work with reduced transfer. Chair Anne Mazar and Town Planner Dylan Lindholm persuaded the committee to rescind a prior $500,000 transfer and instead approve moving $100,000 from the ATM 5/4/24 Article 28 account to cover septic upgrades, survey work, and lot division at 75 Providence Street. The committee voted unanimously on both the rescission and the new $100,000 transfer, leaving the remaining balance for future affordable-housing development.
The CPC will serve as the initial sounding board for the town's housing efforts pending review of the Mendon Housing Production Plan.
