Mendon's Community Preservation Committee approved prior minutes and shaped its May Annual Town Meeting warrant, deferring kayak and recreational purchases due to timeline constraints. Chair Anne Mazar and members Dan Byer, Peter Denton, Michael Goddard, and Barry Iadarola discussed projects including restoration of the Olney Cook House and Lake Nipmuc ice house, as well as building high school field funding at $100,000 per year to pay debt in conjunction with Upton. The committee established that the Olney Cook House, Records Room, and Police Station must carry historical preservation restrictions if CPA funds are deployed on those buildings.
