MENDON — The Mendon Conservation Commission unanimously approved a Notice of Intent for retaining wall and stormwater work at 26 Rawson Farm Drive, with applicant representative Matthew Marro presenting a project including slope reinforcement, a riprap splash pad, and rear-yard grading for the property owners Keila and Thomas Elliot. The Commission tabled a discussion of potential commercial timber harvest on the Town Forest and delayed a decision on peer-review proposals from BSC Group, Beals & Thomas, and Tighe & Bond to revise the Wetland Protection Regulations. A public hearing on 2 Nipmuc Drive was continued to March 26, and the Commission conditionally approved wetlands consultant Desheng Wang for remediation on six properties cited for unauthorized commercial forestry.
