Conservation Commission issues conditions on Nipmuc Drive wetlands project.

MENDON — Conservation Commission approves revised Nipmuc Drive project with buffer protections. The board unanimously issued an Order of Conditions for the residential development at 2 Nipmuc Drive, requiring permanent demarcation of a 25-foot no-disturb zone around Lake Nipmuc using concrete posts or boulders, plus a sloped landscaping plan before installation. Applicant Mike Dean, representing owner Benny Pinto, had revised plans to eliminate a garage, expanded driveway, and stone walls that violated the wetlands setback.

In separate action, the Commission unanimously issued a Certificate of Compliance for a 2018 septic repair at 46 Washington Street after Conservation Agent Isabella Genova inspected on April 6.
