Council on Aging Approves Gift, Plans Summer Events
Mendon Council on Aging approved a $100 gift and set summer senior events. The Council unanimously approved a $100 tribute from the gift account for Dave Clinkman, the Mendon Minstrels music director who resigned, with member Phil Cieply moving the motion and Earl Pearlman seconding.

Mendon Council on Aging approved a $100 gift and set summer senior events. The Council unanimously approved a $100 tribute from the gift account for Dave Clinkman, the Mendon Minstrels music director who resigned, with member Phil Cieply moving the motion and Earl Pearlman seconding. Director Amy Wilson-Kent reported the installation of a Narcan opioid response box and finalized an updated Emergency Plan approved by Fire Chief Kurczy.
Summer events include a Volunteer Appreciation gathering May 27 at 11am, a Townwide Yard Sale June 6, a Senior Tea August 2, and an Ice Cream Social August 26 at 1pm, with nominations for Senior Citizen of the Year due June 1.
