Land Use Committee plans conservation area pilot project at Muddy Brook.
Land Use Committee · Meeting of January 6, 2026
MENDON — Land Use Committee approves December minutes and advances conservation planning. Terrence Moore and Isabella Genova presented a framework for conservation area planning in Mendon, proposing a pilot project at Muddy Brook and a small task force including a Land Use Committee representative to design public involvement. The committee agreed the plan should carry a five- to ten-year horizon with specific first-year actions, and that Select Board and Town Administrator input would be needed on planning group structure.
A Community Preservation Act public hearing is scheduled January 21st at 6:35 p.m. during the Select Board meeting, open to public comment on land use and the five-year land use plan.
