Mendon Land Use Committee recommends revised planning bylaw to Town Meeting. The committee unanimously approved the recommendation after reviewing town counsel's changes to the bylaw and addressing committee concerns about funding for future property acquisitions. The committee also transferred authorization of three energy accounts (MassSave, Solarize Plus, and Green Communities Grant) to the town Energy Coordinator, with a $1,000 annual spending limit per account without committee approval; larger expenditures require committee approval subject to annual reporting.

The committee approved $788 in spending for landscaping improvements at Town Hall Campus, including flower bed planting by volunteer Lea Botta-Whiting with materials reimbursement and consulting by Vincent Normande on landscape maintenance.
