MENDON — Select Board unanimously appoints administrative assistant, closes warrant. The Mendon Select Board on March 18 voted unanimously to appoint Catelyn Tassone to the full-time Administrative Assistant position serving the Select Board and Town Administrator; Board Member Michael Merolli made the motion, seconded by Board Member Alejna Brugos. The Board also voted unanimously to close the Annual Town Meeting Warrant on March 24 at 4:00 PM, and approved the Acting Officer Policy and Person-in-Charge Policy for the Fire Department and an entertainment license for the Mendon Driving Range, all by unanimous vote.
The Providence Street Culvert Project drew extensive public comment on proposed traffic pattern changes to mitigate construction disturbances on Cemetery Street, with residents requesting traffic and impact studies and alternative routing options.
