Select Board approves three appointments; OKs utility poles on two roads.

Mendon Select Board unanimously approves appointments and utility poles. The board appointed Susan Edmonds to the Board of Registrars, Andrew Nicholl to the Capital Planning Committee (term through June 30, 2028), and Luke Young to a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator position in the Highway Department at $24.97 per hour, pending background check. The board also unanimously approved joint operated pole installations by National Grid and Verizon New England on both Thayer Road and Emerson Street, following public hearings on each proposal.
Board Chair Jason Kuter, Vice Chair Michael Goddard, and Members Brendan Chenelle, Michael Merolli, and Alejna Brugos were present for all votes.
