Mendon Select Board unanimously reappointed 13 residents to municipal committees and opened town meeting warrant. Vice Chair Alejna Brugos presided on August 5 in the absence of Chair Michael Merolli. The board reappointed Lea Whiting and Carl Hommel to Conservation Commission; Phil Cieply, Carol Kotros, and Earl Pearlman to Council on Aging; Michael Krager and Ron Zammuto to Finance Committee; and Karen Meade to Historic District and Historical commissions, with all terms expiring June 30, 2029.
The board also appointed Jason Bangma to Town Forest Committee, accepted a $500 donation from Tinio Consulting, Inc., for the town's 250th anniversary Mock Signing Event, and set the Special Town Meeting warrant to close October 1, 2026.
