Finance Committee · Meeting of August 7, 2026

Mendon's Finance Committee unanimously recommended reappointing three of its own members after each recused from his own vote. Chair Michael Krager, Vice-Chair Carl Hommel, and members Michael Ammendolia, Ron Zammuto, Billy Haddad, Jesse Curll and Tyler Abate, newly seated as a full voting member, took up the interviews after Krager, Curll and Zammuto's terms technically expired in June. Curll and Zammuto were each recommended 6-0 with the subject recused; Krager's recommendation passed with Krager stepping aside, saying "I will not be voting." Zammuto told the committee he stayed on because he didn't want to see institutional knowledge lost, saying "I don't want to say I felt obligated, but I enjoy being on it." Approval of the June 11 minutes was tabled after the wrong document link circulated before the meeting.

The recommendations now go to the Select Board, which holds final appointing authority.
