Mendon Library Trustees Restart Rectory Fundraising Push, Eye Naming Rights

Mendon Library Trustees moved to restart their rectory building subcommittee with an explicit fundraising charge at their June 17 meeting. The board also began a long-deferred discussion of a spending policy for its state aid reserve, currently holding between $80,000 and $85,000 and receiving roughly $14,000 to $16,000 annually, with the Select Board having repeatedly asked what the funds are for.
