CPC approves $8,000 for Pleasant Street title search
The Community Preservation Committee voted to spend up to $8,000 to clear title on a 10-acre Pleasant Street parcel. The unanimous vote lets the town pursue heirs who owe more than $150,000 in back taxes unpaid since 1980, or take the land through a tax-title process if no heirs respond.
