Commission declares Washington Street property out of compliance

Conservation Commission · Meeting of June 11, 2026

MENDON — Conservation Commission declares Washington Street property out of compliance with enforcement order. The board declined to extend a deadline for the property at 51, 53 Washington Street and 6 Northbridge Street to submit a Wetland Resource Area Impact Plan after multiple prior extensions were granted. During a site visit, Conservation Agent Isabella Genova and engineer Desheng Wang identified a Bordering Vegetated Wetland, a vernal pool, and a stream flow path.

The Commission also ratified emergency certificates for beaver dam removal at 69 Mowry Street and tree removal at 24 Rawson Farm Drive, and issued an Enforcement Order to 10 Butler Road requiring wetland replication by the end of August.
